Providing Billing
Information:
Billing information can be submitted to our office using
the following methods:
It is recommended that billing
information be forwarded as often as possible to maximize cash
flow.
Billing Services:
- Data Entry - We will
obtain the charge information from the provider and/or
practice and enter this information into the database,
including complete patient record setup.
- Claims Filing -
Depending on the insurance carrier the claims are going to,
they will either be filed electronically or via a paper
claim, only when necessary.
- Insurance Verification -
We will verify patient's eligibility and benefits with
their insurance plan, as well as obtain authorization if
required.
- Transmit claims -
claims will be filed electronically when available, to
primary, secondary and tertiary carriers daily.
- Generate and mail patient
statements
Follow-up Services
- Contact insurance carriers
on outstanding claims
- Resolve billing issues and
problems with insurance records via phone follow-up, or
internet enabled services.
- Resolve and process appeals
when needed
- Thorough recovery procedures
can generate from 3-5% of net revenue that would ordinarily
remain u-collectable.
Payments:
- Patient Payments -
All payments and EOB's (Explanation of Benefits) that are
received from the practice and/or via electronically will be
posted into our database on the patient's account.
- Claims Denial Management
- If a payment or denial has been made incorrectly, we
challenge the insurance companies to receive the correct
reimbursement for your practice or provider.
- Post insurance and patient
payments.
